| M&M Tack Shop, located in Raleigh, N.C., specializes in saddle fittings. Proper saddle fit is crucial to your horse's health and performance and to your riding enjoyment. We can check the fit of an existing saddle or help you choose a new saddle that is just right for you and your horse. We try a variety of saddles on your horse and determine which saddle or saddles fit your horse best. Then, you ride in each saddle to decide which one is best for you. Fittings are done by appointment at our store. The fee for a saddle fitting is $75. If you purchase a saddle from us, the $75 is credited toward the price of your new saddle. Balancing and flocking of your new saddle are included in the price of the saddle (within 60 days of purchase). We are also happy to fit any of our wide selection of used saddles to you and your horse. Used-saddle fittings are done exclusively on-site at M&M Tack Shop. There is a charge for any flocking adjustments made to used saddles. When you and your horse visit us for a fitting, you can park your trailer in our large, partially shaded, dirt-and-grass parking area. We have access to several riding arenas. We ask that you come prepared to ride, with an approved helmet and hard-soled boots. You must bring a current (within 12 months), negative Coggins test. |
